So I graduated from college and, despite my best efforts, landed a real job.  Which means that I now have lots of free time on my hands, if my other “real” job was any indicator of what is to come.  I saw myself faced with two choices: A) Become the girl that talks to her dog more than she talks to human beings or B) Start a blog in the hopes that people will read it and it doesn’t just become another sad case of me basically talking to myself.

In the next couple of days I will leave my beloved country and travel to the second lamest state: New Hampshire.   I’m not sure why my family always asks whether or not I intend to come back home when I am done with my “real” job in May.  Why anyone under the age of 80 would move to New Hampshire is beyond me.  Really, when you have to drive 40 minutes to reach the booming metropolis of Manchester, or when you get excited about a 3am trip to Concord because the Wal-Mart there is open 24/7, there is something lacking in your life.  About the only thing that I will miss about living in the boonies is the fact that I will no longer be able to have a fire pit in the middle of my backyard.
